Responsibilities include:

•  resurfacing projects
• maintenance of right-of-way
• providing adequate drainage
• plowing and salting of roads in winter

Elliston-Trowbridge, Elmore Eastern, Harris-Salem, Nissen, and Portage River South Roads are maintained by the county.

State Routes 105, 51, and 590 fall under the jurisdiction of the Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT).
