Administration

Responsible for protecting the public and their property from fire and medical emergencies. This includes providing fire prevention and suppression services, and emergency medical services.

Emergency Management Coordinator. This includes developing a public education program on emergency preparedness, and coordinating disaster situations.
Supervision
The fire chief supervises subordinate officers and firefighters, and ensures they have adequate training.
Inspections
Responsible for making inspections of public buildings and premises to ensure compliance with safety standards.
Records
Ensures that complete records are kept of all fires, inspections, and other department information.
Investigations
Investigates the cause of fires, and notifies the authorities if there is suspicion of arson.
